What we do


Work House provides specialist training, research and social marketing services. Our focus is on facilitating social change or widening opportunities, our specialism lies in removing barriers to personal and economic development. We advise local authorities and other commissioning bodies on best practice and use innovative social research to demonstrate the impact of regeneration projects.

Work House offers 3 key services -

Work House can carry out a complete project on your behalf, support you in designated aspects of your activities or carry out a 'one off' service.

Training

TrainingSpecialising in work and enterprise projects, our core expertise is developing and delivering training that removes barriers to learning and achievement.

We bring PGCE qualifications and 20 years of first-hand, grass roots experience to the table - our approach is strictly client focused and it has been life changing for hundreds of people so far. We can deliver training direct to your clients or support you to develop the necessary skills in house. We can research, devise, implement and evaluate training programmes to suit you and your clients' needs. Training courses include - enterprise pre-start and start up; business skills; marketing; confidence building; job search skills; presentation and interview skills; household budgeting; goal setting; time management.

Social Marketing

Social Marketing

Social Marketing gives policy makers and practitioners a powerful tool for positive social change. It can sustainably transform attitudes and behaviours in individuals experiencing social or financial exclusion, poor health or low aspirations. The Social Marketing approach combines behavioural theory and social research with community engagement and integrated interventions, built around the traditional marketing mix.

We work according to the principles of social marketing and can help you to plan or implement campaigns that overcome barriers to positive behaviors. By combining our PhD level marketing expertise with many years of working in the third and public sector we can offer you efficient support across the full range of marketing tasks, including - design of appropriate materials; outreach programmes and activity; design and project manage innovative interventinos; running seminars and events; effective communications with stakeholders and funders.

Social Research

Social ResearchSoft outcome evaluation is quickly establishing itself as an innovative approach to research that is delivering more meaningful and sustainable results than traditional methods.
